Merry Christmas

Well yesterday was December first and officially Christmas time in my opinion. And thus time to start the Christmas blog that Katie, Gillian, and myself (Jamye) will be making. The hope is to post pictures and stories from our three different Christmases, a collaboration of how different Christmas is for different individuals.

A couple of days ago, Katie and I put up our little Christmas tree in the apartment. Its a basic Christmas tree; complete with lights cheap plastic ornaments, letter ornaments, and a big bow! But after standing back to look at our terrific tree, we noticed how bare the top of the tree looked. We then began to brainstorm about what we could use as a tree topper. As my eyes wandered about our living room, my landed on our figurine of Suzanna Yucoulan! Suzanne is the ex-head coach of the Gymdawgs. The gymnastics program at the University of Georgia... which currently holds TEN national titles! She was free from a gymdawgs meet last year. Which I acquired from a fellow student, who was foolish enough to abandon her at a university event! Well, we decided to strap ol' Suze to the top of our tree. The finished product looks like this:
